Drove my car today and noticed the abs light is on so decided to take a detour to my mates garage and get it checked.
Fault code osf abs sensor short circuit to positive & data bus message missing from engine ecu.!!!!
Anyone got a clue on whats those codes MEANS
What car have you got? Sounds like the ABS sensor is goosed.
2003 A4 Avant 2.5TDi quattro
To do: Joey-mod headlights - Twin Exit Exhaust Conversion - Puddle light and Footwell light retrofit - Rear roof spoiler.
WANTED: Unpainted standard front & rear lower valance (with twin exhaust cut outs) - from someone who's doing an S-Line upgrade.
Speed sensor on that wheel is goosed. Easy job to fit a new one.

A4 S-Line. Mods so far; Cruise, DIS, Mk2 RNS-e, Audi 6 CD changer, XcarLink with self manufactured permanent ipod dock, B8 MFSW, Dectane Dayline Headlights with independantly switched DRL's, RS4 Rear ARB, De-badged, RS4 pedals, HIDS, RS4 front grille and RS4 style fog surrounds, LCR splitter in Satin Black, Rear Park Assist, LED gearknob, Red footwell lighting.
Already replaced the osf abs sensor and checked continuity from the abs module to the sensor all the wiring seems ok but the weird thing is I get the same code when the sensor is unplugged or connected...(Short circulit to postive & Data bus missing message from engine control module) Its driving me Nuts
By the way Its an Audi A4 Quattro 2000 model B5
ABS ECU needs to be reworked. The fine wires break up causing all sorts of issues. The first of which is sporadic failure and eventual non communication.
BBA reman do them IIRC
