How do I know if a 1.8Tq has the K03 or the K03s?

As above - I will be looking at a car today - and was wondering how I could tell which turbo is installed.

it is a 2000 1.8T Quattro Sport - so I assume being a sport it would be the s... but is there a way I can tell by the engine number?

Im sure you can if you can find the info on the 'net. The easiest way is to get teh turbo number off of the turbo info plate by the inlet. Shoule be a K03.05x (where x = a number)

I think the all 1.8T have K03.

Apart from the 1.8T quattro which has the K03s.
