Need to do my rear brakes on the old tank and popped onto www.nextdaybrakes.com to sort some nice Brembos out. Unfortunately it lists 2 discs for my car and the only difference I can see between the 2 is one says "wet" and is twice the price.

Don't want to order the wrong discs so any help appreciated.

I see what you mean after looking at the listings..wet weather discs being more expensive. After a google search of Brembo wet weather discs all the links suggest they`re grooved or drilled. So that`ll be your answer it seems.

When you look at how pathetic the rear calipers are and experience how bad the handbrake is on these cars I'd buy a set of Pagids.

Yeh exactly, £70 with Audis mental markups added on.

I just dont buy into fancy disks, its a lump of cast steel, so long as its made by a reasonably well known company it'll be fine.

You can buy Mintex or similar disks for around £30 a pair, and that company are wanting that for a single disk!

Actually i was looking at a Passat disc forgetting they were different. £43 per disc sorry :p

discs can be as cheap as you like, as aragorn said.

just put decent pads on. pagids or similar...
