What type is fitted to a V reg a4 TS FWD?

i can find two types online. One appears to "bolt" into place, the other is a press fit into the hub...

anyone have any ideas?

thanks

The B5 only has press-in bearings, bar some S4/RS4 models with alloy uprights.

Basically if the upright is steel its pressed in.

There are two sizes though, 75mm and 82mm. 1.8T FWD's are typically 75mm.

You can tell which it is by measuring the size of the head of bolt that holds the CV on. If it has a 14mm hex head its a 75mm bearing, if its 17mm its an 82mm bearing
