S4 wheels on B5

This is probably a stupid question, but...

Can I fit S4 (B5) 17" wheels straight onto my B5 A4 without any problems? I'm specifically thinking about offset as the other overall dimensions should not be affected.

Should be fine. B5 S4 wheels are ET35.

Does this mean thats it's still ok to swap them over? or will they stick out too much?
