Just had the car mot'd, and it passed with an advisory on the exhaust flexi.

Does anyone know the part number for this, is it dealer only, is there pattern parts, is it an easy DIY fit (it's getting cold outside now).

Have struggled to find any decent info on this matter

Car is a 2000 1.8T avant

Cheers in advance

Its part of the downpipe if you want a "bolt in" fix. You can buy a replacement flexi and have it welded into the downpipe though.

My flexi failed after my local PowerFlow dealer made a total Horlicks of removing my centre box (despite me standing under the car and telling them ho wit needed to be done :( ). They kindly offered to empty my wallet to the tune of £100 for the damage THEY caused, oddly I declined and figured if it was going to cost me I'd be damned if the money would line their incompetent pockets. Another place local to me did the repair all in for £80 and it was a tidy job they did. Was still good when I finally changed the mess that PowerFlow called an exhaust and I fitted the Milltek

New downpipe is £99.04 inc vat gasket is £6.40 inc vat.

Providing its a manual i pressume?
