Lower Front Grille

The newer models of some Audi`s have a chrome surround on the lower section of the front grille. I mean the section very low down on the front bumper near the tow eye

I went to VW Mania in Belgium last yr and saw an A4 (B5) that had the lower section outlined in chrome, it looked awesome

I had already done this to mine but I had to use chrome tape, sounds a bit tacky but I make it look tidy. Trouble is it faded after a while so I took it off. The chrome surround on newer Audi`s does`nt fit our models because it is a slightly different shape

I started work at Audi Listers three wks ago so I`m gonna be checking out some grilles soon and seein what I can make

Has anybody managed to do this mod?

i'm sure you could do it with chrome plastic strips that clip on, e.g. the chrome grill conversions that go on ebay for £20. Think there might even be a tech article on audiworld?
