The facelift was available with AFN engine and also with derivatives of the engine: AVG - 110Bhp, AHU- 90 Bhp with a wastegated turbo and AHH 90 Bhp with a VNT turbo and 11mm pump as standard. Is yours a VE engine ? If yes then the engine will work with the wiring loom you allready have. The early AFN had a steel sump the later had a alloy sump with provision for the oil sensor level. That's pretty much all the difference really. Look at the ecu plugs, early ones had a 82 pin ECU, later had a 122 pin ECU wich is flashable trough the OBD port. Minor difference are the injector plug wiring, 110bhp had a 8 pin plug connector, 90 Bhp had a 10 pin connector but they are easy to swap around.
