Dunno how else to describe them. Trying to remove thesedamn clips from expansion tank
It's fiddly and keep slipping off what do u guys use?

Tried both keeps slipping there is a special tool but costs over £30 :uhm: WTF

Same as tony. its a bit of a pain.
but you want a pair where the jaws remain as flat as possible.

A screw driver helping to nudge the button of clip helps as well.

EDIT:=-
Set of theses seems to work best for me

I use pump pliers. similar to what your pointing to in the pic, but slightly thinner and the jaws remain flat in all notches. Have never had a problem using them.

Same here, some clips are worse than others, but i usually manage with water pump pliers as arrowed or a normal pair of needlenose or stub nose pliers.

I've used the proper tool, and its really good, but its a lot of money for something thats used occasionally.
