Hi all
Would 19inch wheels with235 35,s go on my s4?I will be fitting either eibach or h&r springs(only). Do i need coil overs to do this?
cheers

I've got 19x8 et25 and 235/35 rear and et33 and 225/35 front but on a fwd chassis. This is just on sport springs so not low.Probably got about 25mm arch gap at the rear and 35mm at the front. The wheels sit mor or less flush with the arches.

As Aragorn says....."You will need to check the offset" ......

I have just tried to fit a set of 17 x 8.5J ET50 wheels with 245x 45 17 tyres on my QTS. I dont know if the S4's arches compensate bigger wheels ?!

On mine, with the above wheels fitted EVEN with a 15mm space on the back the tyre was still touching the upper rear arm and the tyre was starting to stand out like a sore thumb from the wheel arch!

245's are a little wide TBH and at that width the height (45) is too big, and ET50 is too high.

I suspect if you dropped to a 225/45, or maybe a 235, you'd get them on with some careful spacing.

Im gonna leave it and go 18s.RS4s to be exact. Thanks again chaps..........

If you're going GENUINE RS4's, then you'll have to be careful with the tyre choice as the rims poke out a bit, when compared to standard A4/S4 rims...

I have 19x9j allround, fitted with 235/35/19. lowered using H&R springs -30mm, and they are absolutley no problem!
