revs sticking 2.4 v6 (aps)

Hi all,

My 2000 Avants throttle is sticking between gear changes, mainly between 1st and 2nd, ive looked for the throttle valve as i was going to try lubricating the cables first but i cant find it. Does anyone know where to find the throttle valve or know of anything else to check for revs sticking?

I think this can be caused by a faulty clutch or brake switch

Try a fault code scan?

Thanks for that I'll get it scanned in the next couple of weeks, I also managed to get a service manual for my car tonight from a mate so gonna have a look through that. Couldn't find a Haynes manual for my car.
