fitting s4 avus alloys to a4

hi a similar question was posted earlier however i have a 2.4se with 16" at the mo, and will shortly putting on 17" s4 alloys will i have to lower the suspension if so how much do these cost?
i would not want to lose the ride quality i have at the moment i know i will lose some of this as my tyres are 55 and 17" will be 45 profile.

Lowering your suspension will have an effect on your ride quality, even if you just change the springs. I take it you are thinking of the looks, although you say the tyre wall size is decreasing the wheel size is increasing. You can only try on the wheels and see.

yes just the looks, i dont want to look like a tractor, ill give it ago next week.
