Part Number Help Please

Could someone help with a part no please. It would be easier than trying to make the parts dept guy understand the bit I need. I need the rubber strip/seal that goes around/behind the rear number plate light assembly. Mine has perished and is letting water into the switches that open close the boot. My boot keeps popping open. It's a year 2000 b5

for future reference mate you can use a website called vagcat. it has online parts catalogues.

you do have to register but it is free and you dont get any emails etc. also watch out if you go to order parts quite often there will have been an update to the part no but the parts guy should be able to sort you out from it anyway.
