Facelift rear lights, plug and play?

As per the title, im going to fit some face lift rear lights to my 99 S4 avant tomorrow. Im sure ive seen mention of swapping pins over etc? Will they just plug in and work or do i need to swap pins about? Details of which pins would be good if that is the case as im strapped for time tomorrow

I would assume you will need to do the pin swap in the plugs like you do with the saloon.

If the same the swaps are

O/S - Swap Blue/Red with Black/White

N/S - Swap Blue/Red with Black/Green

thanks mate, which lights is it that needs swapping over? my reverse looks in the same place. im sure i'll work it out when i actually look at it but all the info's good so i can get it done quick

That's for saloon, double check before changing any wires. I've only performed the swap on my current one, never bothered on my old avant

Pretty sure they are perfect. Ill get them off after work and take a look
