Hi.
Cruise stalk part no 4D0 953 513 C, think it came from a D2 A8/S8.

Will this be suitable for my 99 S4 avant (facelift) to retrofit CC?

A8 stalks do work, however there are two versions and you need the later one. Early cars (A4 / A6 / A8) had the indiactor wires as part of the main connector, whereas later cars had it on a seperate plug.

513C is afaik the old stalk

you need 513M
