The only occasional times i have managed to drive the car so far ive found one slight issue with it.

Basically when driving along, ready to change gear, when the accelerator is let off and then clutch depressed the engine holds the rev speed for a second or so as i use the clutch. It doesnt affect the actual drive of the car or jerk etc, its just slightly annoying when driving normal and sounds like im a learner still revving as i change the clutch etc.

Only thing i can think of is maybe the TB needs cleaned causing it to stick for a second. Or is it worth re-calibrating the TB? Although the car has had a few flat batteries over the period of time its been in the garage so would that not have already done that by itself?

Any info or experiences???

Oh, cars a 2.8 30v.

Its cable Kev.

Not sure but will look into the cable. Acc pedal doesnt feel stiff etc like when you would have a seizing cable, and doesnt do it if just sitting revving etc, more seems like the car is slow coming off the revs.
