boost on 96 20v turbo aeb

hi im new to my audi a4 its got a boost guage i runs about 7psi on full boost then drops to about 4.5/5psi is this right

Yes That's right for 150hp on stock ecu as I've just learned as mine was running that on the 180hp and it should be 12psi so am in the process of eliminating my boost leak

ok thats good i seen yours thought i would find out just got my a4 yesterday hant had a turbo before lol does a boost controller do much

my 150bhp APU engine is showing 10-11psi peak and holding 7-8psi(ish)... bit odd

APU runs a different ECU and different boost control though, so its possible that explains the larger peak.

I guess it also depends what the OP means by "drops to 5psi". I'd expect it to tail off near the top end of the rev range, but it should hold 7-8psi thru most of the revs.
