    DIS line fix errors

Ok, so some of the lines are missing on the DIS, depending on the temp & how the cars feels that day more or less lines appear.

There are some ebay CD's available for around £6, which state an easy fix, but I hate to pay for information that has been most likely ripped of a forum or a YouTube video.

Anyone know of a fix for this or is it new DIS time?

the only fix is a new LCD.

Ebay £6 ripoff merchants basically tell you of a few bodges, which wont do anything, or might give you a small amount of improvement for a short time, or might even make it worse.

I paid £100 to have a new LCD fitted to mine by a company called tektronix, although that was a special group buy price.

Thanks for the offer but I have a TDi so don't think the S4 clocks would look right.

    Bout a week and £140.
Comes with 5 years warranty on work carried out.
They did alot more than just fix the LCD as well.

Give them a ring and ask them, they do different levels of repair.

Got no holidays at the moment, so could not do without the car for that long, and as usual they are at the other end of the country.
