Hi all,
Was experiencing problems with my boot as the driver's display said the boot lid was open when it was closed, and the boot light stayed on after I securely closed the the boot lid. Even worse, the indicators kept flashing as the alarm sensor thought the boot was open (luckily my alarm horn doesn't work!).
I was told that this is a common fault and to change the book lock which also incorporates the sensor.
Bought a new one from Audi and fitted it. I also checked that the rear washer jet hose was currently fastened, and that no water was getting into the lid and essing up the electrics. All was fine.
However, the problem (which went away for a month or so) has returned!!
Does anyone have any ideas what else could be causing this please??!!
