    EGR DELETE

Hi,I am looking into removing the egr system on my 2000 Audi A4 1.9 TDiajm engine. As the valve is built into the inlet system,I'm thinking of blocking the pipe off at both ends. Will this be ok?

    thanks in advance

remove and blank the metal pipe that runs between the inlet and exhaust manifold.

Can probably use a slice of coke can and then reinstall the pipe over the top.

Tried that on my old vectra diesel. Its not strong enough, the exhaust gasses bust a hole right through it wondered why the feel of the car changed suddenly haha.
