Fitting a decat

Well I spent 2 days attempting to fit a decat on my a4 1.8t, just had a little test drive come back home and discovered a little bit of smoke coming from the gasket next to the turbo. Would this be bedding in the new gaskets or is it just f**ked?

Were you get the de cat and gaskets from and are all the nuts tight also I would bolt it to turbo first then downpipe.

Gaskets are from Audi, pipe is from eBay, nuts are as tight as humanly possible considering it's such a small place to work with.

I'd get two gaskets on it if you haven't already got two on that is ??

Don't think I'm following, 2 gaskets on the each end seems daft.

No just 2 on the turbo side the downpipe has one, if you put 2 on the turbo side it will butt both gaskets up creating a tighter gasket in theory.
