If your car is immo 1 or 2 it should be easily configurable with Vagcom.

What age is your car?

1997 aeb, 200bhp is a tad optimistic tho.

Yeh the turbo will only really flow 190-195 in real terms.

Should more or less drop in, you will need to use vagcom to match the ECU to your IMMO unit but its really easy to do.

As it says on the advert, would it be worth £50 to remove the immo? Or would vagcom over come this?

No leave the immo alone, you just reprogram it to your car, which can be done easily with vagcom on a car as early as yours.

I have a mate with full VAG Com who's very local. Cam ask if he can do it for a couple of beer tokens.
