Had the clocks out today to check all plug in at rear of instrument cluster. Now it wont start. Any suggestions as i need the car to run in a few hours.

Just a flashing key symbol???

Any help...........................

I would say a plug not seated properly if it was fine before.

There is no memeory in the cluster to forget the immo details or anything.
Have another look?

If its pre-1997 the IMMO unit is a small white box located roughly underneath the cluster, maybe you've dislodged this?

If its 1997 onwards with the integrated immo then as mark says one of the plugs is probably not in properly.

Got it going. Not sure what it was. Reconnected the plugs 2 off. There is a 3rd bit for a plug on back of cluster but no plug ???? 4pin. Wondering if thats why the multi function display doesnt work?

This car has been a pain in the **** since i got it...................

Is your car black with a votex kit on it? Did it come from inverness area?
