all it is is strong boot struts and some little poppers to help give it that extra push.

Nothing really needs coding for the B5s.

The facelift B5s boot open with the key and thats all you really need.
The pre-facelift B5s will need this option adding to theirs or add a boot popper to do it for em.

Its easyer on the loons than it is for the Avants I think.
I did and still kind of, looking in to automatic boot open and closing but its a bit costly and needs some bit holes drilled in the D pillers.

Yeah, I did think that was a bit odd.

I think you need the struts from a skoda with more pressure.
Someone has also fitted external springs to their struts.

it is a coding AFAIK.
my facelift has the boot opening key fob but it doesnt do it. is it not under alarm settings like honk and flash?
