VP44 pump number question.

Hi
Could any body tell me if i can use this pump?.
My pump is a bosh vp44 number 0470506002.
i have been offered a pump with the number 0470506006.
Spoke to a bloke who said he has done this with out a problem.
So i need a second opinion.

It wont work, you need to replace like for like !
