    Gearbox and rear diff oil grade's and quantity's.

    Hi everyone, Basically as the title says would be great please, I can get hold of 75w80's if this will do just don't wana go putting it in and few weeks down the line I have crunching or whining noise's I no it may not but hey I want to keep things to spec ! Thanks in advance.

    Just get the oem oil from Audi.
    It's not expensive and the original stuff has been fine for the past what, ten years?

    Off the top of my head the gearbox front trans is 75w/90 GL5 spec and the rear diff is SAE90 spec? better double check though.
