hi there, a few month ago i had to change the MAF censor (air flow). but me being a tight ****** and wanting 1 there and then i went to my local scrappy n got a used 1.. problem i had is that i had to match it up to my old 1 cos the guy gave me a big bin n said help ya sen so i did..i dint find 1 with the right code so got 1 that looked simaler (think its of a passat
anyway the bottom line is that since i fitted it ive been using a hell of a lot petrol..the car is stranded apart from a forge splitter diverter valve also air filter a bit mucky lol..... for example if the computer says 100 mile in tank 10 mins of normal driving then it might av gone down to lets say 80 mile even tho av not covered that millage also the needle will drop too.........been told that a wrong maf censor can cause this..is this true or is it something else.....PLEASE HELP the car is a A4 1.8T AUTO avant 2000 plate...
