Surely this can't be the right price for a piece of plastic

Hi all right I decided to give my breather hoses a good clean as they were full of gunk and accidentally snapped one part number078103224h but the cheapest I can find it is £65 could I not just replace it with some silicone hose the cars a 2.6 v6 quattro. Thanks in advance for any replies

Yes you can. I used a few lengths of coolant hose I got from my autofactors. Works just as well.
