Ive recently realised how poorly adjusted my xenons are. Considering they are meant to be considerable better than standard Halos, mine only seem to pitch about 10ft from the bonnet . Now I think they need adjusting, but after a little surfing, seems that lowering the car messes the system up?? I dropped mine 50mm a good year or so ago, and havent noticed mine auto adjusting (moving up and down) since, so think mine r playing up. Now, I also know there are some manual adjusters on the lights that can change the horizontal and vertical pitch. Is this easy enough to do?? or are there some other 'tricks' I can do to make these better??

You need to check the xenon control unit for faults first off.

You can manually realign them, but you need vagcom to put the control unit into setting mode before you do so.

Hello mate, i can always rely on you to respond......

Do I need full Vag com, or can I do it through the unactivated version. i.e. I havent paid £100 to ativate it.

The xenon lights have a yaw sensor for adjustment of the light angle. So lowering would have some effect on it.
