How hard is it to change over the centre console and switchs etc from the older b5's to a newer facelift type?? Is the climate control able to be swapped over too? I have both cars in the driveway so all the parts are here for me if its possible.

you need to swap the entire console, front and rear sections and the rear cage part that supports everything.
You also need to transfer over the climate unit.

yeah, breaking the facelift as she was wrote of after a light frontal knock. its an 1.8t APU but im keeping that and the box/loom etc to transplant into my b2 sport. most of the interior is replacing the old worn one in the tdi. i dont think there will be much left but anything useful i'll post up on here. sorry forgot to say thanks for the link!!
