1.8t downpipe ?

hi all

does any one know if a 1.8t fwd downpipe will fit a 1.8t quattro

mrs took the car today and came back with it sounding like a rally car, the flexi joint been slightly blowing for a while so pretty sure thats the problem

ive got a couple of spare fwd downpipes in good nick so im hoping it will fit, good excuse to get de cat fitted at the same time! (only had it sitting around for 6 months)

afaik yes but you'll need to shorten it.

Quattro one stops a few inches after the flexi, FWD ones quite a bit longer.

cool cheers, thought it couldnt be too different

its snapped clean off just in front of flexi part
had to drive it to work today like that as i got up late and didnt have time to put battery on mx5, check tyre pressures and fill it up (not used it since nov)

it was loud but still drivable, think soundproofing and stereo on full helped
