The relays are all numbered, so it shouldnt be too hard to look up the relay number and find out what its for?

There cant be too many relays under there i wouldnt have thaught?

As i told you before, the ABS relays are all inside the ABS pump/ECU.

OK, i just wanted to confirm. Ill give up and go with it!

Is the module under the rear seat or is it the one on the side of the pump?

As far as i'm aware the ABS ECU is bolted to the side of the pump itself.

You can probably remove it and have it repaired by someone like BBA_Reman

The only thing under the rear seat on mine is the control unit for the interior monitoring system

So is there a difference between tha ABS controller and the ABS ECU? I only ask as theres two different types of unit on ebay, the big 100 bits and theres 25 electrical boxes. If its a relay would i be able to get away with just swapping this small unit?

This is what im on about:

Maybe the earlier cars are different?

The later ones dont have a box like that, the electronics are all on the side of the pump itself.

For 25 i'd try changing that ECU pictured if your car has one!
