Key change????

Hi, Im very new to these forums, I have just yesterday bought an N reg audi A4 1.8T....

At the moment i have the plain key, i was wondering is there any way i could upgrade it to the flip key... It looks alot better in my opinion.... I was thinking i could just buy the fob and get the blade cut to the same as my key. Then put transponder in new fob???

Would this work?

yep, although the remote wont work.

The other option is to buy a central locking kit from rclick:

Rightclick

Which is cheaper than buying one Audi fob, and will give you proper remote locking to boot.

I fitted one to my old '96, and transferred the immo transponder out of the old keys by carefully cutting around it.
