Hi, I presume they are both heated, as only my drivers side works. are they easy to dismantle and check?

    Thanks

Pull the glass off of the non-working mirror and make sure its the heated glass and you have the cables.

The last owner could have replaced it with non-heated glass or replaced the mirror with out the heating cables.

Go care full when pulling the glass off as it can crack or shatter.
I found it easier to tilt the mirrow all the down and my fingers behind the back and gently pull towards you. They can be a bit of a bit so a firm but gentle prising is needed.

The glass is just clipped in.
There is 4 points at about 1, 5, 7 and 11 that the glass will clip in.

They can be pulled off and on. you just need to go a bit carefull and make sure you put your hands or tool (if you want to use a tool, i recommend finger) near the points that secure the glass and just wiggle'n'pull.

Thanks bud, managed to remove the glass following your instructions and checked that i have voltage across the terminals, so the heating element must be damaged.
