have been given a part number of 8D0 927807F and quoted everything from £83 to £137!!

WTF!?

firstly is this the right part number and secondly where do people get their ABS Sensors?

I got a front one off eBay for about £16 I think. Works fine.

8D0927807F is a rear sensor for a facelift quattro (bolt in).

They are £133 from Audi, and quite hard to find aftermarket.

You can use a push in front sensor (as ian says they're available for buttons) along with the copper sleeve (pn:443927817) and mong the loom about so it fits.

This is what i'm using on the rear of mine, after i destroyed a perfectly good sensor (it was a broken reluctor, but i only figured that out after the sensor was in pieces on the floor!)

Its a bit of a **** design if you ask me. Mine was a nightmare to get out.

just buy a non quattro one i found only difference to be the grommets on cable, no modding required just plugged straight in £16 on evilbay

I have a spare non bolt in one here you can adjust if you need one?

I can post it up tomoz if you PM your address

ah, just the job, ******** if I am dropping £260 on parts I may not ****** need.

Mark , you have PM

I have given up trying to remove them in one peice, much easier to just smash the tops off and drill the centres out. save me hours of f2cking around

ha, just found 2 proper bolt in facelift OEM ones for £90!! bargain!

will still take your front oen though Mark. let me know
