hello , need help with the mbc and n75 thingy

right , what boost do the b5 aeb 1,8 150 run? i m getting a peak of 0.7 and wen i installed a mbc without the n75 got 0.9 but started cutting out about 14psi ..apart from a remap can u get the boost to a bar without bogging down? cheers erm anyone with a diagram of a mbc installation? cheers all

You need a remap to tune the engine. Put the MBC back in the garage and do it properly before you blow it up.

No problems with removing the cat.

Do not fit a MBC to your engine. Without the fueling to match the increase in boost the motor will run lean and will fail in an expensive style.

I managed to lunch my engine even though it had been set up properly after a minor fuel issue caused this in my track car.

That cost me a good couple of grand to sort
