Took the cluster out to see if I could fix the DIS screen.

I've put it back in and it's completely dead, no lights when I turn the ignition and the car only starts for a second before cutting out.

I've tried pulling the connectors back out and reseating them, they seem to be secured properly, still no joy.

Any ideas, or any recommendations for cluster repair companies?

Fuse would be my thoughts.

Your immo is cutting in due to the dash not giving the OK to stay runnin g

The catches all seemed to click quite happily into place though.

I am sure you already have but have a good look to see if anything else has been disturbed while removing the display. I removed my B5 clocks a couple of times with no problem so I am sure you will find its something stupidly simple (I hope).

Panic over, the connector on the left hand side hadn't engaged properly.

Car now runs fine.
