Hi all, Replaced rear bearing on my a4 tdi quattro (b5) whist in that process, triedhto remove abs sensor from rear hub, the top plasic part of the sensor would rotate albeit stiffly but the innards wre not moving when doing this (could see by looking from inside of hub.. Have i broken the sensor now or are they designed to do this? My abs light is now on after hub refitment but was not on before, vagcom reports short to ground or something or other on the sensor and when resetting codes , abs light does not go out Please help me... Thanks guys. WH.

It'll be broken. Did the same thing to craigs S4.

New sensor is £180 from audi, but you can use a FWD rear sensor and it more or less fits, just the cable guide bits are a bit different.
