Exhaust stud drilled out but went alittle to deep ?

Jst drilled out the last stud but got alittle carried away and went to deep. pillock yes I know etc
drill went into some cavity , What sort of damage will I have caused ? New head I suppose.
Stud was top row 5th from front of car.

engine is 1.8 turbo petrol = AEB

It a coolant galley there IIRC.
should be fine if you can tap the hole and fit a new stud. just make sure it is properly sealed with some higher temp loctite. it doesnt matter if the loctite doesnt lock because of the heat cycles it should provide enough of a seal to stop any leakage. it is not under that much pressure anyway.

It be a good idea to flush the coolant with the thermo stat out as well. Just to get rid of any swarf that may have got into the system with the drilling.
