I think the ecu resets when you disconnect your battery for more than couple of mins??...not sure though

yup removing the battery resets the ecu so it forgets the fueling info, should go away after a short drive.

Round the block wont work you need at least a good motorway drive. 15min + give the comp time to reprocess all the information.
It took my ecu 1 day to remember that one press of the electric window button makes it go all the way up or down.

xcuse me for being nieve but wouldn't removing the battery just cause the same problem again. After all, that is how this started. - Battery went bust, fine one day broke the next - Replace with new battery then problems.

tks, Mark.

PS, tks everyone for their input!

Happened to me tons of times when I had all my TV's etc in my car the battery was always running flat when I left them switched on lol, just drive it for a while, takes anything from 10 mins to 2 days, you will notice the rev's increase to around 1300 on tickover making gear changing a PITA, somtimes you can just drive for 10 mins then switch off ignition while driving along and restart and it will sort it, other times it can take ages.

DONT go to the dealer just let it clear.

It shouldnt be running rough though, it will just be ideling faster then normal and makes gear changing harder.
