TYRE PRESSURE ADVICE: 225/40/18

Have just fitted 8.5x18 wheels to my b5 A4 1.8T , wearing 225/40/18 falkens.
Anyone know what the best pressure to run is?

same size on the Mrs Volvo V50 diesel and running 36 has stripped the centre of the tyres

depends on the cars weight.

225/45r17 on a TQS runs 36 front / 34 rear

same tyre on an S4 seems to be 36 all round.

I'd start around there and try up and down a bit.

Craig runs his around 38 iirc.
