cutting bumpstops?

when i fitt my new springs the weekend do i have to or is it worth me cutting ht the bump stops on the shocks before refitting? just dont fancy idea putting all back together to find they bottom out on the stops all the time

why not leave them on whole then see how it goes and if they bug you cut the top half off while still on the car.
it's pretty easy

well ive already got the standard sport suspension fitted, and they list my new ones at about 35/40mm drop on a standard car.. and less on ones fitted with sports

so im guessing will be about 20/25mm lower than i already have


also i know how to remove the rear shocks they ive done those before and very simple, but ive not done the front and have seen couple different methods suggested, has anyone got the easiest route? or link to it

undo arb
undo top mounts through the rubber grommit holes.
undo lower mount
take strut out.
done.
