Coolant tank plug

Has anyone got a spare plug with a bit of cable on it ? If not can it be bypassed temp just while i run the engine for testing ? The wire has broken at the connection at the plug so no spare cable to fix it

Why does it need bypassed for "testing"?

Just to stop it pinging and flashing at me while i run vagcom , the car hasnt been run for over a year now , the least warning lights the better so i can concentrate on the real problems .
