Standard N75 v N75 'J'

Is it worth swapping to the 'J' version N75 valve on a standard un-modified AJL engine? or is it only worthwile on remapped engines etc.

its not worth it at all imo.

The valve has a differnt response curve which means it gains you a few psi, however because its not doing what the ECU expects it to do, you end up getting it dropping into limp mode etc.
 
Thanks, yes I'd read this but noticed a few had done the change but wasn't sure if it was on a standard set up or not. I'll probably leave it alone now its working ok.
 
it will "feel" faster due to the more agressive boost spike, but will taper off very quickly. Not ideal IMHO

to also add, i didn't like it on mine so sold it on,lol
