I saw this on MRC when I done my remap great car .

seen it before but could watch it over and over.
I love the way he is two up with all the camera gear and still clocks over 200mph.
the speedo is stuck at 160 for almost all that last run!!

Think that is pretty much the limit of these cars due to the aerodynamics.

Doug managed 198mph on a previous visit when I believe he was running around 100bhp less. That's a lot of power required for an extra 4mph!

i'm sure rod tarrys managed 206 or 208mph in a sierra cossie, with around 800hp, and i'd think a cossie is a bit less slippery than a B5!

im sure with a bit of tape hear and there and few more bits removed it would go faster . I love the way it looks so stock!

Impressive! Was that a 2WD cossie?

Something else to think about is that at Vmax you only have a limited distance in which to get up to speed and more importantly brake safely at the end. One of the guys over on AudiSRS had a brake hose pop off when braking after a run at Vmax!

First one looks like an earlier video with lots of messing around, second ones from Fifth Gear.

It looks PROPERLY sketchy when he launches it in that first video lol!
