Hi,

Could someone please tell me how to remove the trim from the dash and doors.

I have the aluminum trim and it is in need of a bit of a refurb to remove the various effects of use (scratches and dents)

I'm planning on sanding it down past the scratches and then polishing it back to gleaming niceness.
If anyone has done this before your comments would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

They have little clips on the rear tha need sliding off. The problem is the dash ones are behind the centre console, so you need to remove most of the console for 3 seconds work in popping the clip.

However the good thing is as with everyting Audi, it's over engineered so it can be refitted without that clip without any ill effects, no squeeks, rattles etc.

hi mate ive just removed all my trims and i forund the info on mr google!! i just typed 'how to remove the dash trims on b6 audi a4' realy easy to do, the most tricky bit was the headlight switch removal, apart from that its easy!!!
