s4 avant boot

hi all is it possiable to fit a 6ft rod bag in a advant with the back seats down,im toying between getting a s4 or s6 there are a lot more s4s about than s6s, i have a legnum vr4 at the moment but want to upgrade to something newer thanks for replies in advance

I've just been out and had a measure of my avant (A4 B5), there is just over 6ft on the diagonal across from the back of the front seats to corner of boot, and my seats are by no means fully forward so I would say you'll be fine.

fishing rod?
just put it straight down the middle over the centre arm rest. saves putting the seat down

i chuck my rod bag over the rear seat and into the rear footwell, box and other stuff goes in the boot under the cover, plenty of room in an a4

i fit all my carp gear in my s4 avant no problems and mine is a 13ft rod bag
