Bosch Super 4 Spark Plugs

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Bosch Super 4 spark plugs (FR78) are any good for our cars?

Mine could do with some new plugs and was wondering if I should try some.

My car is a 1999 1.8qts (chipped to 200bhp).

I would never use them again.

I had fitted a set to the turbo engine i fitted to the purple car and when it wouldnt start i spent days adjusting and changing parts. It turned out to be the plugs, puts some NGK B6REKs in there and it was sorted

I run a set of super4 on my 1.8t without any problems.

tried all sorts of plugs with no issues and currently running super 4's also with no problem.

Heard of lots having trouble with Super4s and lots with no trouble on various cars.

but very rarely do you hear anyone having trouble with NGKs.

Bit of a bump here.

I have run NGK6R's gapped at 0.028 I think for years, changing them every year so 4k.

Car is getting serviced so looking to put the standard longer lasting plugs in for the next owner as they will never change them every year. Which model of NGK are they please? I think they are meant to last every 40k or something silly.

PFR6Q and they'll last about 80k

I ran a set of BKR6EK's for about 30k in my old FWD A4.

Really I notice a bit of a dip in performance after about 6k.

Will get some PFR6Q's ordered.

I run super6's. Found that on higher boost they work better than the ngk's.
