PiperX Induction Kit

Hey just got a piperX induction kit. Pretty weird, not a normal cone type filter it just replaces the bottom half of the old box so the old shield is still in place and all the sensors are still there. Anyhow makes a pretty good chatter noise so quite chuffed. A bit worried though about the whole oil dilemma though! I didn’t bother spraying the oil aerosol that is supplied for on the filter hope this helps.

I don’t have a digital camera....sorry. But it is basically the bottom half of the old air box but made from foam. Yeah I am not sure whether to use the oil in case it damages the MAF.

Paid about £80 got it the next day which was nice. Takes about 15mins to fit. (that’s taking it easy) Not really that loud induction noise but pretty loud chatter. I probably can’t hear the induction noise because my exhaust is pretty loud.

The air sound. Sounds similar wastegate chatter.
