hi,how do you remove the 2 silver bits of trim off the dashboard?and also the ones on the doorcards?the car is a 2001 b5 facelift.
thanks

Door cards need to come off, peel back soundproofing and work clips off carefully.

Dash is a bitch to do, glovebox, drivers knee bolster handbrake and centre console all need to be removed and then it's cack handed to remove the push clips.

Don't try to pry the clips off, you risk snapping the plastic pins they are pushed on to. It's easiest to use an unscrewing action and the same to replace. Mind yer fingers the clips can be sharp!

Out of interst, what are you doing with the trim? I could do with a couple of bits to replace some dented ones on mine...
